William Gudenrath, resident adviser at The Studio, provides instruction in the basics of Venetian glassblowing and creates his own Venetian-inspired glass pieces. Included are demonstrations of creating an optic tumbler and a dragonstem goblet.
A variety of glassmaking and decorating techniques as well as some finished work are shown. Included are: the making of filigree canes, dragonstem goblets, large cast leaf, engraving, mirrors, enameling, millefiori bowls, and chandeliers.
