Pâte de Verre: Special Collections at the Rakow Library

Seven handwritten notebooks entitled pâte de verre which seem to have been written ca. 1912-1919 -- references to asking the army for some money owed the author suggests the experiments described must have been done just after World War I. The last carnet bears the date of 1911, but the author explains it is a record of a casting made in Sèvres that he copied ’d’après Pinette’. The author cites, among others, Marinot and Argy-Rousseau.
